Wärtsilä brings liquefaction expertise to Finnish energy project


Wärtsilä is bringing its liquefaction expertise to a major energy transition project in Finland

The technology group will provide the front-end engineering design for the liquefaction and storage of liquefied synthetic methane at a new plant in Kristinestad.

The Power-to-X plant is being built by Koppö Energia, a joint venture between Germany’s Prime Green Energy Infrastructure Fund and CPC Finland.
