Wattlab powers world’s largest battery bulk carrier

Dutch solar technology company Wattlab has signed a contract to supply its advanced onboard solar energy system for a new bulk carrier being built for Norwegian shipping company Berge Rederi

Once work is complete, the BRF Froan will become the world’s largest battery-powered bulk carrier. 

The agreement follows Wattlab’s successful delivery of its first full-scale seagoing project last week.
