The design for a vessel capable of carrying 430 tons of compressed hydrogen (C-H2) being developed by Australia-based Global Energy Ventures (GEV) will likely initially have an LNG dual-fuel generator and electric drive system as a first step in making the transition to zero-carbon propulsion.
