The conference will be taking place at the Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel, Copenhagen on November 2-4, 2021 and will featuring two days of high level technical presentations followed by a technical visit on day three.

The event boasts a high-level range of speakers, and will be chaired by Lars Robert Pedersen, Deputy Secretary General, BIMCO, and Martin Kroeger, Managing Director of the German Shipowners’ Association (VDR). The range of topics includes regulatory issues, with discussions around the EU ETS and the IMO Energy Efficiency Existing Ship Index (EEXI) and Carbon Intensity Index (CII) by shipowner panels and industry experts

The programme furthermore features dedicated panels covering LNG’s evolution, as well as alternative fuels Methanol, Ammonia, Hydrogen, and will also feature emerging energy saving technologies for commercial shipping, including batteries, fuel cells and wind assisted propulsion.
