ABB expands marine automation portfolio

ABB has agreed to acquire Norwegian marine automation specialist Høglund in a move that will strengthen its marine automation offering and support further growth across a broad range of vessel segments

The acquisition, which is expected to close during the third quarter of 2026 subject to regulatory approvals, will see Høglund become part of ABB’s Marine & Ports division. Financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed.
