US Drive to Cut Methane Emissions

Engineering services company MAHLE Powertrain has secured US Government funding for a technological research initiative to reduce methane emissions.

MAHLE Powertrain is participating in a project to devise a catalytic system to oxidise methane in the exhaust gas of lean-burn, natural gas engines, and to implement the results by 2025.
