WinGD engines for Evergreen newbuilds

Winterthur-based engine designer WinGD has won an order from Taiwan-based Evergreen to equip their new ultra large containerships with 11X92-B two-stroke engines.

The X82 can be ‘dual-rated’, allowing ship operators to run the engines with either high or low maximum engine outputs.
