ABS introduces Alternative Fuel Ready notation for vessels

Classification society ABS has announced the release of the ABS Guide for Gas and Other Low-Flashpoint Fuel Ready Vessels. The guide also introduces a range of ‘Alternative Fuel Ready’ notations.

The use of LNG and other alternative gases or low-flashpoint fuels is expected to become more widely adopted in the future.
