Bp acquires stake in biofuels producer

bp has acquired a 30% stake in Green Biofuels (GBF), the UK’s largest provider of hydrogenated vegetable oil (HVO), and will work with the company to help decarbonise businesses across the construction, freight, off-road, and marine industries.

The energy major entered into a long-term offtake agreement with Nuseed for the production of sustainable biofuels in February 2022.
