EU funding for French and Norwegian hydrogen vessel projects

The European innovation project FLAGSHIPS has been awarded EUR5 million to support the development and deployment of two hydrogen fuel cell vessels in France and Norway.

The current ferry operating the Finnøy connection outside Stavanger, Norway. Norled intends to replace the ferry with a hydrogen fuel cell powered vessel.
