Hydrogen production planned in Dutch North Sea

Neptune Energy and RWE have signed a Joint Development Agreement to develop the offshore green hydrogen project H2opZee in the Dutch North Sea ahead of 2030.

The demonstration project aims to apply lessons learnt from the PosHYdon pilot, which included offshore hydrogen electrolysis on Neptune Energy’s Q13a platform (pictured).
