MAN ES announces partners for four stroke ammonia engine

MAN Energy Solutions has announced the launch of the “AmmoniaMot 2” research project, marking another significant milestone in its pursuit of ammonia as a sustainable marine fuel. Following the successful design and testing of the world’s first two-stroke ammonia engine, MAN is now focusing on a four-stroke, medium-speed, dual-fuel test engine powered by ammonia.
