Report: Biofuels the most expensive option

A new study evaluated the need for large-scale deployment of new technologies and the use of low-carbon fuels to help the sector reduce greenhouse gas emissions by at least 50% by 2050, finding that replacing fossil fuels with drop-in liquid and gaseous biofuels is likely to be the most expensive option.
