US funding for biofuels project

The Port of Columbia, home to the Louisiana Green Fuels project (LGF) has been awarded a US$1 million Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and FEMA grant through the Port Security Grant Program (PSGP).

Once completed, the Louisiana Green Fuels Plant is expected to produce approximately 33 million gallons of renewable fuels
