Optimarin to bring IIOT digital functionality to BWTS market
Optimarin is to launch a new digitalisation solution for ballast water treatment to permit ship-to-shore data-sharing. The system, OptiLink, leverages the capabilities of Siemens’ cloud-based IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) operating system MindSphere, to provides real-time monitoring of ballast water treatment systems (BWTS), along with automated data generation and remote connectivity.
