Stena Bulk invests USD55m in scrubbers

Stena Bulk is to invest USD55 million in 16 open-loop exhaust gas cleaning systems (scrubber) systems from Chinese manufacturer Shanghai Bluesoul Environment Technology. The units will be installed before January 2020 on five Suezmax and ten IMOIIMAX vessels as well as one standard MR. The total investment includes equipment, installation costs and time out of service.
