ABB power and propulsion package for Samskip H2-fuelled containerships

ABB has announced it will supply a power, propulsion and automation package for two newbuild short-sea container ships to be built by Cochin Shipyard for the global logistics company Samskip Group. The order is highly significant as the vessels will be among the world’s first of their kind to use hydrogen as a fuel, powering fuel cells.
