ASL Marine secures newbuilding contract
ASL Shipyard Pte Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Singapore based ASL Marine Holdings Ltd. (ASL Marine), has secured a new shipbuilding contract from an overseas customer worth approximately S$38.5 million.
The contract calls for the construction of a diving support vessel with fire fighting, standby and rescue capabilities. The vessel is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter 2011.
