Drones to check emissions over the Baltic Sea

The Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency and the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) are about to start a large-scale emissions monitoring campaign using drones over the Baltic Sea. 

EMSA awarded a EUR16.5 million contract to Schiebel for ship emission monitoring and general maritime surveillance for EU member states in April 2021.
