Software agreement
The Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS) has signed a co-operation agreement with the ship design software company NAPA to adopt the use of NAPA software.
RS says that use of NAPA software will make data transfer between design bureau and classification society easier and speed up the process of calculation review.
The classification society wants to modernise its software applications to take advantage to get more competitive and take advantage of the growing Russian shipbuilding market.
