Long-standing venue set to deliver once again
Empire Riverside Hotel is a place to work… and relax
With panoramic views over the River Elbe and the Port of Hamburg, the Empire Riverside Hotel is the ideal – and long-standing – venue for the Propulsion & Future Fuels Conference.
Heading into its 47th edition this December, the distinctive and highly-rated four-star hotel will once again provide a welcoming location for the dozens of delegates and maritime leaders coming together to focus on shipping’s energy transition.
While the dedicated conference space understandably gets most of the attention, the Empire Riverside Hotel also offers 327 rooms and suites across 16 floors, all featuring design statement floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows, as well as bars and other locations which are ideal for post-conference discussions and networking.
And for some timeout from the expert insights and conference focus, the hotel also offers a fitness and 200 m² spa area alongside a gym, Finnish Sauna with plunge pool, and an open relaxation area.
Designed by the renowned British architect Sir David Chipperfield, the slender hotel tower was created to fit in alongside the Astra Tower and St. Michaelis Church as part of the celebrated ‘Hafenkrone’ – the prominent buildings and spires that define the Hamburg skyline.
All in all, the Empire Riverside Hotel is a remarkable place to see – and stay.
