Appliance of data science to new PBST radial turbo
Researchers from MAN Energy Solutions explained the numerical simulation work behind the design of the new PBST TCP turbochargers at CIMAC 2023. From first concepts to detailed design, testing and validation the tools help create a new radial turbocharger generation that pushes the limits towards single stage pressure ratios far above 6 and achieves best-in-class specific mass flow rates.
