Malaysia Builds LNG Carrier Influence
Built by Samsung Heavy Industries for Kuala Lumpur-based MISC, the new membrane-type LNGCs have been committed to trade with ExxonMobil subsidiary SeaRiver Maritime (SRM) under 15-year timecharters. At the time of writing, Seri Damai was on passage to Western Australia to load cargo, while Seri Daya was finalising sea trials.
