ClassNK and the National Maritime Research Institute (NMRI) have launched a joint research project to evaluate corrosion rates in liquefied carbon dioxide (LCO2) cargo tanks under low-temperature and low-pressure conditions, supporting the safe expansion of carbon capture transport by sea.
