Schottel launches retractable variants of SRT

German propulsion specialist Schottel has launched a retractable variant of its rim thruster (SRT). The solution is available in a retractable (SRT-R) variant, in which no additional flow resistance is generated when withdrawn, as well as an RT variant, in which the unit can be used as a transverse thruster while withdrawn.
