K Line inks deal for 8 x LNG-fuelled 7,000 ceu PCTCs

Japanese operator Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. (K Line) has ordered 8 x 7,000 ceu car carriers. The orders for the dual-fuel LNG-fuelled newbuildings have been placed with Nihon Shipyard and Shin Kurushima Dockyard in Japan and China Merchants Jinling Shipyard.

K Line took delivery of its first LNG-fuelled PCTC Century Highway Green in March 2021.
