Jimmy Lirvat

Jimmy Lirvat is Head of Performance at GT Wings, where he leads the modelling, optimisation and validation of the company’s wind-assisted propulsion systems.  With a background in high-performance aerodynamic engineering spanning Formula 1, advanced product development and CFD-driven system optimisation, Jimmy specialises in translating theoretical performance potential into real-world operational results.  At GT Wings, his work focuses both on maximising the fuel-saving capability of wind-assisted propulsion systems and ensuring that this performance is realised and verified in commercial operation through simulation, sea trials, operational analysis and performance verification methodologies.
