The Motorship Propulsion & Future Fuels Conference is a gathering of the global maritime industry aimed at exploring the future of sustainable shipping, with those taking part covering the full breadth and depth of the objective.
Recent editions have welcomed delegates and attendees from numerous European countries, as well as Canada and the US, to a unique forum to share knowledge, debate the latest regulatory and technological developments, and build valuable industry connections.
Close to half of those attending – 42% – are a CEO, director or in senior management at their company or organisation, with the same percentage made up of fleet development or project managers (15%), engineers (14%) and business development managers (13%).
With the conference’s focus on alternative fuels, advancing propulsion technologies and decarbonisation strategies, it is appropriate that the majority of those taking part, 55%, are equipment manufacturers or service suppliers, or in the fuel, energy and lubricant sectors.
The 2026 Motorship Propulsion & Future Fuels Conference – which will be marking its 47th edition in Hamburg, 8-10 December – is the must-attend event for everyone involved in shipping’s energy transition.
