Alfa Laval acquires anti-fouling firm

Alfa Laval is to acquire NRG Marine, a UK-based specialist in ultrasonic anti-fouling technology for marine, oil and gas, and industrial applications

NRG Marine’s ultrasonic systems use microscopic bubbles that disrupt surfaces to prevent fouling, scaling and sludge accumulation, resulting in reduced maintenance and improved performance.

The acquisition is expected to close by Q2 2025.
