Wind propulsion tech firm, Anemoi Marine Technologies, has announced the successful independent verification of its Rotor Sail system, following nearly a year of extensive testing

The verification, conducted by Lloyd’s Register Advisory, confirms the accuracy of Anemoi’s methodology for calculating fuel and emissions savings, marking a significant milestone for the wind propulsion industry.

The results show an average of 1.9 tonnes of fuel savings per day and 7.0 tonnes of CO2 emissions reductions per day, corresponding to a 9.1% net savings in fuel and emissions.
