The Motorship’s Propulsion & Future Fuels is the leading international conference on powering shipping’s emissions-cutting ambitions.
The 2026 Conference will take place from 8th - 10th December in Hamburg, Germany and will offer a meeting place to learn, discuss and knowledge-share the latest developments in efficient power and propulsion technology plus alternative low flashpoint and low carbon fuels.
STX Offshore & Shipbuilding of South Korea is reported to have secured a new contract to build two LNG carriers for SCF Sovcomflot of Russia.
These are part of an order for six new ships, for which the combined value is put at $550 million. The two Sovcomflot LNG carriers are worth $400 million, and will be delivered in the second half of 2013 and the first half of 2014.
