TotalEnergies joins ammonia as marine fuel coalition, increases research focus

The 23-member coalition will study ammonia as an alternative marine fuel.

TotalEnergies has joined with 22 other industry participants to develop a joint study of common issues on ammonia as an alternative marine fuel. The coalition includes leading companies in the energy, mining, power utility, chemical, terminal, shipping, shipbuilding, manufacture, bunkering, and classification society sectors.
