Maersk teams up with Wallenius Wilhelmsen to develop advanced biofuel

Maersk and Wallenius Wilhelmsen are investigating the viability of an advanced biofuel, LEO, which includes ethanol and lignin.

Maersk identified alcohol fuels as one of the three "best positioned" fuels as potential net zero fuel solutions in a joint study with Lloyds Register on 24 October.
