MITSUI E&S APPLIES LATEST ECO-SHIP TECHNOLOGY TO EXISTING SHIPS

Mitsui E&S Shipbuilding and Mitsui E&S Machinery have initiated a service to improve the propulsion efficiency of older vessels using the technological advances applied to their latest “neo series” of environmentally friendly newbuildings.

CFD calculations are used to ensure the optimal design of energy saving devices (ESD) based on vessels' individual hull form data.
