NYK to evaluate Wärtsilä predictive maintenance solution on LNGCs
Japanese shipping giant Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK) and Monohakobi Technology Institute (MTI) are evaluating Wärtsiläs Expert Insight predictive maintenance service as part of a pilot programme. The two signed an Optimised Maintenance Agreement with Wärtsilä in January 2021 to cover two LNG carriers (LNGCs).
