Dawning Of Lightweight Hybrid Ro-Pax

Pioneering Australian aluminium shipbuilder Incat has prepared a hybrid concept of large wave-piercing catamaran ferry for short-sea operation. The solution is focused on the maximisation of battery-electric power augmented by diesel gensets, and is proposed as a contender to conventional, mid-sized ro-pax vessels.
