MEPC79: No change to GHG targets

The 79th session of the IMO’s Marine Environment Protection Committee (MEPC 79) was held from 12 to 16 December 2022, with no change to GHG targets agreed on.

MEPC 70 confirmed that a Mediterranean sulphur emission control area (SECA) would come into effect from 1 May 2025.
