India Lands Major Norwegian Contract
Norway’s leading short-sea cargo vessel operator Wilson ASA has awarded a contract for up to 14 diesel-electric coasters to Indian shipbuilder Cochin Shipyard. The programme is based on a Dutch-developed 3,800dwt design prepared for adoption of auxiliary wind power and battery hybrid technology.
