Maersk eyes first green methanol supply from China

A.P. Moller – Maersk (Maersk) signed the first large scale green methanol offtake agreement for the global shipping industry with a Chinese supplier, Goldwind, in late November. The deal for the supply of up to 500,000 tonnes of green methanol per year will see production begin in 2026.
