New guidelines for nickel ore cargoes

The growing number of major casualties related to cargo liquefaction has lead to a greater awareness of the safety aspects of certain bulk cargoes and, in particular, the carriage nickel ore, the liquefaction of which was linked to casualties of three vessels carrying cargoes from Indonesia to China at the end of 2010.
