Distrust and disbelief over carbon

Part of the problem seems to be there is some distrust between governmental bodies and the shipping industry. It’s flared up again with a UK Energy and Climate Change Committee report accusing shipping of “delaying tactics” with regard to its calls for a global IMO emissions scheme, and winding up the pressure for shipping to be included in the same EU trading scheme that has recently been extended to the aviation industry.
