New strategic partnership for coatings business
US group PPG Industries’ protective and marine coatings business, which includes the Sigma. Amercoat and Pitt-Char brands, has signed a global distribution agreement with Hi-Temp Coatings Technology for selected Hi-Temp branded products.
Hi-Temp Coatings Technology manufactures coatings to withstand extreme temperatures, protecting carbon and stainless steel substrates in stacks, piping, boilers and similar equipment. Some of the products in are intended for application while equipment is hot and running, and some help prevent corrosion under insulation on surfaces that will be insulated after being coated.
