Oil tester range extended to handle 100BN lubes

The company says that its Digital Rapid Oil Tester is now suitable for monitoring the BN depletion of the latest generation marine cylinder oils, which are formulated with high alkalinity, i.e. high BN, in order to prevent cold corrosion within the cylinders.

The new version is claimed to feature various functions making the tester a simple and user-friendly tool for monitoring oil condition:

• Built in memory for recording up to 90 test results
• USB communication port for downloading test results to a computer
