Maersk installs Hydrocurrent waste heat recovery

A new waste heat recovery system developed by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Calnetix Technologies has been installed on Maersk Line vessel ‘Arnold Maersk’.

The 125kW Hydrocurrent system can generate electricity from low temperature sources, including jacket cooling water at around 85°C
