Rotor sail system for Pacific combi carrier

BHP and Pan Pacific Copper have inked a deal to replace one of the deck cranes onboard MV Koryu with a rotor sail, in the first installation of its kind

BHP, the mining major, and Pan Pacific Copper, a subsidiary of Japan’s JX Nippon Mining & Metals group, have signed an agreement with Norsepower to install a rotor sails system on board a combination carrier, MV Koryu.
