Shell and MSC Cruises enter LNG deal

Shell and MSC Cruises have kicked off their new LNG agreement with the successful bunkering of MSC Euribia in Rotterdam, the Netherlands

The bunkering is part of the agreement between the two companies which will see Shell Western LNG provide marine fuels for MSC’s second LNG-fuelled newbuild which is currently operating in northern Europe.

This new agreement is in addition to the ongoing strategic cooperation encompassing broader shared decarbonisation objectives which has been in place since 2021.
