MacGregor in €22m RoPax ferry deal
Cargotecs MacGregor, which provides engineering solutions and services for marine cargo and offshore load handling, has secured orders worth around €22m to provide port, cruise access and equipment for RoPax ferries from Europe to China.
The orders were booked into Cargotec’s first quarter 2019 intake, with delivery scheduled to start during the first quarter of 2020 and completed during the second quarter of 2024.
“Highly experienced teams working closely with customers in Europe and China, combined with our global presence and ability to meet local market requirements, has enabled us to secure these important orders,” said Magnus Sjöberg, senior vice president of cargo handling and RoRo at MacGregor.
