Wärtsilä has signed a strategic partnership agreement with SAACKE, the Germany-based global supplier of marine firing plants for seagoing vessels, offshore plants and LNG tankers.

GTT has received Approval in Principle (AiP) for the NO96 containment system application as an LNG fuel tank for Ultra Large Container Vessels from DNV GL.
