EcoPellers selected for hybrid-electric ferry order

Schottel has received an order to supply two EcoPellers for installation in a 100m long hybrid-electric ferry, Altera. The LMG-Marin designed Ro-Pax ferry is under construction at Crist shipyard in Poland, and will be operated by state-owned Finnish ferry operator FinFerries.

FinFerries’ hybrid-electric ferry Altera features high-efficiency azimuth thrusters.
