Empire Wind selects plug-in hybrid SOV

Empire Offshore Wind, a joint venture between Equinor and bp, has awarded a long-term service operations vessel charter agreement to US-based Edison Chouest Offshore for a plug-in hybrid service operations vessel (SOV).

Empire Edison Wind has awarded a long-term charter to Edison Chouest Offshore for a plug-in hybrid SOV, the first in the US offshore wind sector for such a vessel.
